What you use for your hands and feet, and can also be used on the body, but in a bigger bottle of course. For your body to look its best, get a gel, sugar scrub (my fav!), and Woman showering The $1000 Look: Part III – The Bodylotion.

Shower Gel: Choose a shower gel with a rich, silky formula that leaves your skin feeling smooth, soft, and refreshed. It should be suitable for all skin types and gentle enough for daily use. Also, make sure that your shower gel has a sudsy lather! If you’re so inclined, there are plenty of shower gels with different kinds of fragrances. My favorite ones are flower smells, lavender and jasmine!

Sugar Scrub: This is one of the best products I’ve encountered! A sugar scrub smoothes and exfoliates your skin. The sugar granules act as super-exfoliators that remove dead surface skin cells and smoothes over rough spots; making your skin super soft and glowing!

Sugar scrub The $1000 Look: Part III – The BodyI’m not even sure if there are words in the English language to describe how it feels, but I’ll try! It makes your skin feel soft, moisturized, AND it has a velvety-smooth finish!  Sugar scrubs are invigorating and a sweet treat for the skin! Again, if you like fragrances pick your favorite one! (Note: choose a fragrance that matches your shower gel and body lotion to prevent smelling like a skunk!)

Body Lotion: Body lotion is definitely a great finisher after using the perfect body gel and sugar scrub! If you buy one with a fragrance it’s a lower cost alternative to buying expensive perfumes. (The idea is to look like you’ve spent a $1,000 without actually spending that kind of money, right?) Your body lotion should make your skin feel moisturized, not oily and greasy. (Baby oil users… throw it away!)

There are reasonably priced skin care products out there so that you don’t have to break your bank (or rob one either). In this tight economy, some of us like to go the old-cheapo route! There’s nothing wrong with buying a product on sale, but keep in mind cheap products result in cheap ingredients which won’t deliver the results you want.

Woman in bath The $1000 Look: Part III – The BodyAnd be careful about mixing-matching! It’s best to buy your skin care products from one company than several different ones. A cosmetics company makes their products to work well with each other, but not with products from other companies (just good business sense).  If you use products from different companies, don’t be surprised if things don’t work out as well as you hoped.

And this tops off our topic on having a $1000 Look! (Read my post on Luscious Lips and that will add to your new $1000 look as well!)
